Water UCI is helping to determine the breadth and extent of climate change effects on the performance of California’s electricity system as well as the necessary steps for making the electricity system resilient. Water UCI is developing a ‘roadmap’ for state policymakers and others to plan for, and implement greenhouse gas and renewable utilization planning with respect, in particular, to the water-energy nexus. The Water UCI share of funding is $33,400.
