Hydraulic fracturing is a process used to increase the rate at which fossil fuels can be recovered from natural reservoirs.  This water-dependent practice has implications for California’s water supply in both the short and long term.  Water UCI invited experts to speak on the impacts of hydraulic fracturing to water resources where we learned about the consequences of this increasingly utilized technique.
